Enrollment
Choosing a child care provider that best suits the personality and needs of your child is one of the most crucial decisions you will ever make.  We recognize this and have designed an orientation process to help you decide if Rainbow Kids is a good match for your child and you.  Our enrollment process is an easy one.  Tours of our facility are scheduled with families’ busy schedules in mind.  Week day, as well as, weekend tours are available to meet family’s needs and we encourage parents to bring their children to the Center to introduce them to the facility and staff. Upon receiving a non-refundable registration deposit, an enrollment packet will be available either at the Center, or will be mailed to each family.  During the enrollment process, our Center will seek information about each child and their family, their interests and their needs.  Communication is essential in working together to provide each child with care that is consistent both at home and at school.  Parents are requested to share with the Center, all therapeutic, educational, social and support services your child receives. 

Deciding if this is the right program for your child may take an additional visit.  You can setup a scheduled visit to spend the morning with your child in the classroom.  This will help you see the classroom in their everyday activities.  The time and duration of these visits can be arranged with the Director based on you and your child’s needs.  The completed enrollment packet must be filled out before any child can be left without a parent.  The Director can then meet with you again to determine whether our program meets our expectation and family needs.  If you decide you would like to enroll your child at Rainbow Kids we require the first week of tuition (which will be applied to your first weeks of care) and the yearly registration fee plus the completed enrollment packet.

For children younger than school age, the Director will discuss each child’s developmental history with his/her parents during the Center tour or at the time of the child’s “sit-in” visit, before their first day of enrollment.
